Stumasa -- www.stumasa.com Super cute handmade furniture -- bought all my shelves and little cubes for my office and son's room. I left them all natural wood but they have the option of staining or painting as well.
Also has the best little gift items for kids and babies. Wooden, organic and a little crunchy (LOVE it!). Jack has gotten a few little gifts from there which he adores.
Cool stuff for adults too -- letterpress stamps, sleek wooden photo albums, modern lamps and all sorts of cool things. A great place to go even if it's just to get inspired!
Balboa theater on Balboa Sreet --
Great spot to catch a flick in the foggy Richmond (my hood). Best Popcorn and Tea selections -- REAL BUTTER baby!! Nice old school theater... but maybe not the place to go see a huge mega blockbuster. Sounds system and seating are -- let's just say... vintage, but to me that is part of the charm.
