rah rave!

i cannot tell you how much i appreciate hearing kind words about my work. allie and todd each sent me the most wonderful emails (below): want to put them up here so that i can have place to go to remember all the sweet and wonderful things they said about me.

thank you again you two --

Rebecca,

What can I say? I went to your blog yesterday and saw some of the photo's you took at our wedding and I am, once again, totally blown away by your work! You are an incredible talent. You captured the story of the day from a rare perspective. The photo's you got, I'm thinking of the one of my grandmother holding her purse, completely captured people, the emotions, the essence of everything--and in the case of that photo of my grandmother, didn't even need to include her face to totally "get" her. We absolutely can't wait to see the rest. You created quite a gift for us. A living memory of a day where we got to be with the people we love most in the world.

Your presence at our wedding totally added to the day. Numerous people have commented on how terrific you were and what energy you gave and how you ran around non-stop with no less than 3 cameras around your neck! Incredible. And we didn't even have a chance to say goodbye! At least not from the wedding. I know it will never really be "goodbye" with you! Thank goodness!

We are so grateful to you. Truly. Thank you.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Much much love,

Allie & Todd

From Todd: Hi Rebecca!

I have to echo Allie's comments. Not only do we so enjoy you work (an what you do for others), we really do "love" having you around (we're not professionals with you around either). As did others. Even my cousin John that does photography for a living too commented about that capable "firecracker" we hired. That's pretty high praise since he's not one to do weddings.

We hope you survived the day. God knows you put your heart into it. Sorry we made you cry at the ceremony. Clearly, we didn't do to well keeping a dry eye either. Those vows were tough to get out!

Anyway, we look forward to seeing the fruits of your talent. You can step in for Ms. Leibowitz as far as I'm concerned. If you're ever clicking around the Mission, don't hesitate to drop in for a glass of wine.

Take care tk
