Megan and Phil are the sweetest couple ever. They hired me to photograph their wedding - has it been 5 years ago? They are so fun and Megan looks amazing and wonderful! Thank you again for the fun shoot.

ps. Megan has a twin sister that is also pregnant. I will be photographing them together once the babies are born (YA!).

Two months old and just adorable! Ella was such a delight to photograph, she made sure to make my morning easy by being super cute and smiley! Thank you Ella -- I am so excited to capture all that will be happening in the next year :)!

My dearest and closest girlfriend did a huge favor for me yesterday and posed for some random shots that I have been wanting to take for awhile. We went over to the DeYoung and took a few shots. The staff was getting pretty nervous though because you need permits to photograph "professionally" there. I will probably only keep these up for a week or so because of that -- don't want to rub anyone the wrong way :). Anyhoo -- thank you so much Eva -- it was great spending the day with you. We had such a great trip to New York... I fell totally in love with it. Who knew that New York was so sweet -- the people, the sites, the freakn' rad MAC store, the park... should I go on? We hit great weather and met some really wonderful people. Thank you New York -- We'll be back soon!

This very active and super sweet family was so fun to photograph in Central Park. The girls had that same wild and adventurous look in their eyes that I had as a young girl. It really reminded me of how great it is to be a kid -- the big world to explore, the things to get into, the mountains to climb….

The main reason I started photographing kids was because they are so honest in front of the camera. I love the shots of the boys that are a little questioning and shy. The girls are the exact opposite -- full of curiosity and wonder. Such a wonderful combination.

I first photographed these two adorable twins on their FIRST birthday. It was so amazing to catch up with them 5 years later.
I first started the "Twins" series five years ago and wanted to follow them throughout the first 10 years of life. It has been a little tough because a lot of people end up not staying in San Francisco. Meeting up with them in Central Park was sucha joy. Running around, dancing silly dances, telling silly stories and getting a lot of "raspberries" -- basically the perfect shoot!! Thanks boys -- keep on being cool!

These two had such a great wedding... very intimate and sweet. They got married in the Berkeley hills in a spot I never even knew existed. It had the perfect lake and beach for us to run around get some fun shots.

Oh my gosh, these two (I mean four) are so cute!! We had such a great time running around on the beach with their two very friendly and cute puppies today. They were just the perfect subjects to capture -- fun, fresh and just a little funky. Funky in a good way -- like when I told them I wanted them to go stand by a green wall with a red umbrella -- they were totally down with that. Thanks so much you two -- I had a great time today. Enjoy these for now!

Thank you Jerry, Em and my wonderful busband for a great night last night... the show, the afterparty... I didn't feel 31 at all and I thank you for that! I feel 45 today (ug), but it was all worth it.

She is 3 weeks old and as sweet as a little pea. I had such a great time photographing Caitlyn and Barbara (check out Barbara & Allan on the May 18th blog post).

I love the last shot posted here -- her telling us "Ok... I'm done now!" The beauty about photographing children and babies is they are always totally honesty about when they are enjoying or not :).

Here are just a few we popped off today while hanging out with my pals Em and Julian. Jerry Becker (the one that is on tour with Pat Monahan right now) is Julian's dad. I am sure Jer will be delighted to see his son practicing while he is away.

The first shot is of my dad (Jack's Grandpa) and Jack. I just love this shot. These two boys makesmy world a little more colorful and a lot more peaceful (I know, I know -- I sound like a west coast now). Thank you for the visit G-ma and G-pa... Jack had a GREAT time hanging with you!
