I wish I could put into words how excited I was to shoot Roy and Jennifer's wedding this past Saturday. They are not only beautiful on the outside -- but also so very sweet and fun to be around too. We had a lot of fun together. Roy’s friends from England were a blast to hang out with for an afternoon. I almost fell down a hill trying to get the shot of the group together -- but it was worth it!!

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful and perfect day. Have a great time in Thailand!!

Oh -- Jennifer happens to be my biggest blog fan -- thank you so much for the support... You rock!

Roubina and Arthur had such a great wedding! It was filled with love and laughter.

Roubina looked amazing. Arthur took home the award for best speech given by a groom. I usually cry at every wedding, but it is rare that a groom's speech brings me to a complete sob. Great job Arthur!

Barbara and Allan had a sweet intimate ceremony in Shakespeare Garden on Wednesday afternoon. It was a perfect sunny day for us -- not a cloud in site. I love these kinds of weddings -- it's all about the LOVE.

Then I had Barbara and Alan run around with me at The Legion of Honor to get some fun shots. They let me construct some very interesting images (thank you for laying down on the cement in your dress Barbara -- you are AWESOME!).

It was a perfect day, a perfect wedding for the perfect couple. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it!

Christy and Dustin were such a a total blast. They got married on May 12th in The Presidio in SF. I have photographed the Film Center before and really LOVE the space. It lends itself to some really great light and angles.

Their firends were so fun and willing to play along -- I love when that happens. They gave me complete control and BOY OH BOY did I run with it. I instantly felt like Dustin and Christy were old friends of mine and I was a part of "the crew".

I have a TON of great images but went through to get some of the more fun and interesting ones. I hope you enjoy them!!

At 8 weeks old, Alex is already a charmer. He is was so patient with us. Thank Alex for being such a good and sweet baby! Happy 1st Mother's Day Carla!!! :)

Wendy and Shawn were photographed by me over two years ago when they were expecting. Fast forward two years and Owen is a full blown little boy now...

It was so nice to finally meet the little man! He is such a sweetheart. We did a lot of running (even in 92 degree weather) and tons of playing. He totally got my sense of humor -- LOVE when that happens. I guess that says a lot about my sense of humor -- huh?

Owen is to be a big brother very soon -- about three weeks away. I know he is going to be such a wonderful teacher and helper. He is going to be such an awesome big brother!!

I just got a wonderful email from Alice and Mike, a wedding I shot about a month ago (go "Back in Time" on the blog to see a few of my favorites). I just wanted to share the love because I really take it heart. Thank you Alice and Mike -- you made my week (MONTH even).

This is long overdue, but we wanted to wait to thank you for doing such amazing photography after we got the proofs. While we knew they were going to be good, we didn't know that they were going to be SO GOOD! You captured EVERY moment. It was just mind blowing how much you got on film. You have such a wonderful energy which put everyone at ease. The photo walk was so fun because of you and your "eye." All the different lights, scenarios, everything, was awesome. Our friends couldn't stop talking about how great you were and we agree! Thank you again and again. I feel like we got so lucky having you as our photographer. We are definitely calling you when we have kids and if you ever need a reference, we would be more than happy to give one (or ten+).

Max is such a cool little boy. He was so fun to photograph! He wasn't so sure about the whole thing at first -- but we made quick friends and were digging in the dirt and riding his rocket scooter soon enough. His dog Charlie was the biggest ham of them all -- he tried to get into every picure, so cute.

Of course, my favorite shot is of Michael throwing Max into the sun -- there's that warm fuzzy feeling again. Oh -- me and my sun bursts...

Thank you much for spending the afternoon with me yesterday Sam, Michael, Max and Charlie... you are such a wonderful and dear family!!

This afternoon, I had the pleasure of photographing Maria. She is a radiant and beautiful woman with the cutest belly! We had so much fun and got a lot of really great shots. She is 8 months along and doing so great. It really is such an amazing time of life -- to be sharing your body with another little person. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to document this time in her (their) life.

Some of them could not be put up here because she is a little shy. I think these are "safe" though. Enjoy!!!
