Katie and Jason -- oh where to begin. So Katie is a photographer as well so let's just say she didn't forget any details. I had such a blast photographing her in the Ainsley House which a very cool space in Campbell. She gave her bridemaids loaded Holgas to carry around and snap shots off during the day (how freakin' cool is that)?! She also had Starbucks coffee (which I got leaded on) and an old fashioned typewriter to leave a message on. Cute, cute, cute!

Also Jason and Katie had such a beautiful ceremony -- so heartfelt and real. I was crying so much I was worried that I might ruin my eyepiece on my camera.

These two are perfect for each other and I cannot tell you how honored I was to be a part of it all.

I photographed Sofia when she was just a little babe... I cannot get over how fast time flies. Now it was Ian's turn to get naked and run around the park with me! I really do have San Francisco running in my blood... always trying to get people to run around naked for me:).

Kevin is so cute!! He really has a great mom and dad too... they are so in love with Kevin, and I sure can see why. He is such a laid back little guy -- and so easy to photograph.

I have to tell this story... when we got him naked for the bamboo shots, he decided to take a little wiz in the bushes. Sorry I am not showing that photo -- trust me... it really is soooo funny!

Jack and I spent the afternoon with good friends Emily (my amazing photographer friend) and Julian at Baker Beach today. We collected sea glass and cool rocks.

The close-up photo of me is from the impressive young new artist -- Jack!! I put a filter on it to make it little more forgving. He has such a good eye already at 19 months ;).

The other shot of Jack and I together is from Emily. I love the look on Jack's face -- priceless. We are going to have such a great collection in a few years. Thank you Em -- you are freakin' great!

Off to another busy weekend -- cheers!

I have been photographing this awesome and amazing family since the very beginning of my portrait career. In fact, it is because of them that I am where I am and doing what I am doing.

They were the first to be photographed by me professionally -- and they were the first to totally get what I was after. They stayed in casual clothes and let me just come and document their family life -- I owe them so much for believing in me.

I was so honored to be a part of their recent family reunion in Tahoe. It was such a great day -- the weather was perfect blue skies, the water sparkling in the background and look at how cute these guys are!! It really was a GREAT time. Not to mention I won $200 on the Blackjack table that night :).

Thank you again and I hope to be in touch for a long long time -- I am blessed to have met you in that little pizzeria!!

So as many of you know, I am much better at communicating visually then I am with words. I basically use the same four adjectives in every blog- awesome, fun, amazing and adorable. Well -- these are the exact same four words I would describe Silas... but I will let my photographs doing the talking.

This was my first "Trash the Dress" shoot and OH MY GOSH... it was so much fun. I photographed Meg and Zach's wedding in January (which will be featured on The Knot soon -- double yaa!!) and she was the first to agree to the idea of dressing up again and around around with me -- thank you Meg!!

I cannot tell you how fun it is to have a model all dressed up and willing to do all the silly things you only dream about. I have had the vision of a someone in the tub in a dress for about 10 years now -- I finally got the chance to photograph it. Meg is amazing and she LOOKED soooo fantastic -- so much fun!

Thank you Meg, from the bottom of my heart -- you really are the BEST!!!

The very sweet Owen.... He was such a pleasure to photograph. He actually reminded me ALOT of my little Jack. I think we got each other right way -- and he gave me some of the biggest smiles I have seen in awhile. Thank you so much for playing!! Enjoy~ RAH

Lisa looked amazing! I had a great time photographing them in the big blue sky at the beautiful Napa Country Club. They has a really great time and some very emotional moments (check out the dance with dad -- I cried)! Beautiful bride, beautiful location -- can I ask for anything more?! Well.. maybe some yummy cake : ).
