eight months is such a fun stage of baby-hood. they are learning new things everyday // almost hour by hour they are picking up new "tricks". miss ellie is such an easy baby girl and so fun to hang out with. many hugs!
it was such a silly crazy rush for the holidays that i am just now getting to open mail that was stuffed in the bottom draw to tidy up for company during the holidays. i finally opened that draw and was able to open this beauitful gift from a beautiful woman named maureen mae. i am struck down with thankfulness to a woman that makes it all look effotless. i had the chance to photograph her in her studio (adorable!!) a month or so ago and want to share. she makes these sweet hand-stamped necklaces and bracelets that are perfect for a gift for the "love day" coming up. check her out at: www.maureenmae.com. i am thankful and lucky to have her in my life. you amaze me, mo. and thank you!
i went to my first painting class last night (first since art school) and found it so very mellow and fun to put paint on a canvas. here is the the start of the painting, it is from a photo i took on my morning marin beach/hike adventures. this is just the blocked in shading and i will go in for details next week. when's the last itme you put you fingers in some paints and played? it truly is relaxing.
